We act as the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). We process your data only for the purposes stated here and only as far as the law permits.

We collect the data needed for a specific feature we provide. We do not collect data we do not need.

• Email address and display name (Firebase Auth account)
• Your Google profile details when you sign in with Google (name, email, profile photo)
• Audio and prompts you upload for processing (Firebase Storage, Cloud Functions)
• Generated tracks and favorites tied to your account (Cloud Firestore)
• Purchase history and subscription status (RevenueCat)
• Microphone recordings (for voice input, recording and song recognition)
• Device audio and media files you import
• App configuration and feature flags (Firebase Remote Config)
• App integrity signals (Firebase App Check)
• Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google): Used to create accounts, sign you in, and sync your data to the cloud. Your user ID, email, and in-app content are stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is limited by Firestore security rules.

Firebase Storage and Cloud Functions (Google): The audio you upload and the tracks you generate are stored securely, and generation runs server-side through these services.

Firebase App Check and Remote Config (Google): Used to verify app integrity and configure features remotely.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): To send notifications, a push token tied to your device is processed. Notifications are sent only if you grant permission, which you can revoke in device settings.

Sign in with Apple: Apple authenticates you and passes a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email. If you use Hide My Email, we never see your real email.

Sign in with Google: Google authenticates you and provides your basic profile information (name, email, profile photo, Google account ID). We use this only to create your account and sign you in.

RevenueCat (Subscription Infrastructure): Used to manage subscriptions and purchases. It processes your purchase history and an app-specific user identifier; by default it does not collect direct identifiers such as your name, email, or IP address. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play; neither we nor RevenueCat can access your card details.

Microphone: We request microphone access to capture voice input, record audio, and recognize a playing song. The microphone is active only while you use the related feature; no audio is recorded in the background.

Our app does not show ads.

MelodyKit offers auto-renewable subscriptions. When you buy a subscription, the following applies:

• Plans: Weekly, monthly and yearly. The current price is always shown on the purchase screen.
• What it unlocks: A subscription unlocks unlimited access to the creation features.
• Payment: The charge is applied to your App Store or Google Play account when the purchase is confirmed.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. On iOS go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, on Android go to Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Some of our service providers (for example Google, Apple, RevenueCat) may store data on servers abroad (USA, EU countries). In those cases we apply the safeguards required by Article 9 of KVKK, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and other appropriate measures.

We keep your data only as long as needed for the processing purpose and within the retention periods required by law. When you delete your account, all related personal data is permanently deleted, except data we must retain to meet legal obligations.

Under Article 11 of KVKK you may: learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, request correction, deletion, or destruction, learn the third parties to whom it was transferred, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.

You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all related personal data in one of two ways.

From inside the app: Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account and confirm.

Without the app (via the web): If you have uninstalled the app or cannot reach the in-app option, submit a deletion request at melodykit.motivexintelligence.com/delete-account. After we verify your request, we permanently delete your account and related data within 30 days at the latest.

After deletion, all personal data tied to your account is deleted. Only data we are legally required to keep is retained for the period required by law and then deleted.

Our app is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (16 in the EU). If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child provided us data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it as soon as possible.

Our company is based in Turkey. For EU users, GDPR rights also apply: access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. For California (USA) users, CCPA/CPRA rights to know and to delete apply; we do not sell your personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes we notify you in-app and revise the effective date. The current version is always published at melodykit.motivexintelligence.com/privacy.
